Hi, I will share my thoughts on the TED talk "Siri, Alexa, Google ... What Comes Next?" by journalist Karen Lellouche Tordjman. This video talks about the future of AI and virtual assistants, the evolution of AI, ethical considerations, and AI's challenges and opportunities.

Main Points:

  1. AI could grow to be more emotionally aware, allowing virtual assistants to understand human emotions, context and information more deeply.
  2. Advancements in the future could allow AI to be proactive, helping users with decision-making by predicting needs based on past behavior and interpreting information.
  3. Voice activated The way companies use this data, whether for targeted advertising or other purposes, sparks debates about data ownership and ethical practices. started off as simple tools for tasks like setting reminders, answering basic questions, and providing weather updates.
  4. Soon this turned into voice activated virtual assistants becoming more conversational and sophisticated and are now capable of engaging in more complex interactions and having a better sense of understanding natural language.
  5. Virtual assistants collect a large amount of personal information which could be deemed dangerous and could raise concerns about privacy and the security of that information.
  6. Companies can use a person's data, whether for targeted advertising or other reasons, sparks debates about data ownership and ethical practices.
  7. AI faces challenges like bias in machine learning algorithm which could reduce the potential in AI and hinder decision making in AI.
  8. Despite the challenges and potential problems in AI, it also has opportunities for improving, such as preforming dull tasks, and possibly making the quality of life better for both individuals and societies.
